Increase Your Profit Margin with Your eBook

By Lacey Richard

Most people who write and publish eBooks dream of making a lot of money or at least making more money with those books but not a lot of them are actually able to do that. The real reason that this is true is that the majority of the people who want to find success though eBooks aren't yet ready to venture outside of their comfort zones. If you're ready to put on your creative thinking cap and make more money this article is what you have been looking for.

Use Your eBook as the Basis for a Paid Membership Site: Paid membership sites have exploded in popularity in recent months, especially those that have lots of quality information to offer. Since you've already packed a ton of useful and quality information into your eBook, why not use it as the foundation of a paid membership site? You can talk about something from your eBook or offer more detail on something after your book has been published. You also have the option of using your eBook as the foundation upon which you build more content that your target audience has been asking for. You can support the information you've included on your eBook with your paid membership by offering things like case studies, interviews, research reports, and other value enhanced content to help your subscribers better understand what you're talking about in your book. Monthly and yearly memberships are the most often chosen models because of the frequency of payment though, admittedly, the monthly memberships have proven to be more profitable. This also helps you increase the number of ways you earn money--you'll have both your sales of your eBook and the membership fees you collect.

Make Your eBook an Audio Course: Audio courses are very popular nowadays because they are easier to use than eBooks. It isn't that difficult to create an audio course; all you have to do is read your eBook out loud and record yourself doing so. Just try to make it interesting by allowing your personality to come out; you can do this by elaborating on some points when you need to. Another advantage of recording an audio course is that you'll be able to sell it a much higher price due to the higher perceived value. People don't mind paying more money for audio courses because they find that it is easier to understand things by listening than by reading. You should also know that audio courses are a great source of fun-both in the making of them and the listening to them.

Turn Your eBook into an eClass: You can actually divide your eBook into parts, and turn them into lessons that you can send out to once/twice a week to your email list. To get as much profit from this as possible turn it into at least two levels of class: beginning and advanced. You can first get people to sign up for the beginner class and then from then on convert them to the advanced class as they progress. The most important thing, obviously, is giving as much value to your subscribers as possible. You might even offer a few starter lessons for free and only charge later on for the more advanced levels. Just think out of the box, and you'll be able to create an eClass that your target audience will like. It is easier to be successful as a course teacher when your first few go well.

Creating a successful eBook based Internet business is totally doable; you just need to make sure that you take the correct steps at the right times to make sure that you get the best attention levels possible from your target market.
